Celebrating our 15th Year Anniversary, ICE FACTORY is Soho Think Tank’s  Obie-award winning  summer festival of new work.  We present work by emerging and established theatre companies, as well as exceptional national and international groups.  We pride ourselves on the aesthetic diversity of the work presented, while maintaining our standard of intelligent, imaginative theater, manifesting work that exceeds the mainstream.   Internships are unpaid, but available for credit.

ICE FACTORY internships offer young theatre artists the opportunity to work with seven exceptional downtown theatre companies, on seven new shows, in seven weeks.

Ice Factory Interns will work mainly as technical and crew responsibilities, including hanging lights, building sets, running light and sound boards, and as backstage stage hands.  Other responsibilities will include front of house, and concessions. Administrative positions will also be available.

 

Interns are expected to be available for (dates TBC):

 

Festival load-in (TBC)	July 1-3	10pm - 7 am
Weekly Schedule (TBC)	July 9 - August 24
	Sunday: load-in-show	noon - 10pm
	Monday: tech	12pm - 10 pm
	Tuesday: final dress	3pm - 10 pm
	Wednesday: opening night	5pm - 8.30pm
	Thursday: performance	5.30pm - 8.30 pm
	Friday: performance	5.30pm - 8.30 pm
	Saturday: performance	5.30pm - 8.30 pm
	strike	8.30pm - 11pm
Festival Strike	August 24th	noon - 8pm
